SKU: BB495 Customers asked for a moccasin shoe they can use for Earthing, needing a durable sole that will last longer than usual. These men's moccasin shoes were designed with this in mind. Now you can buy the best men's soft sole moccasins that work perfect for Earthing and provide you with a barefoot feeling while still being able to enjoy the outdoor. We hope you take the time to read our blog featuring these earthing moccasins "Welcome to Earthing". They have a durable, high quality, extra thick, long-lasting oil-tan sole which is a dark brown colour. They do not have any foam insoles, only 2 layers of leather. The soles become conductive when you walk on the Earth. These men's authentic Native American moccasins are handmade/sewn of genuine moose hide leather in Maple Tan colour. Please note, you may notice a little bleeding of the oil on the moose hide. This is totally natural as the moose hide will absorb some of the coloration of the oil-tan. These men's soft sole outdoor moccasins have rawhide laces for tightening and the vamp is double hand-stitched.
We carry men's size 7-15 and recommend that you order the same size as your regular shoe size. If you wear a half size, order down to the next full size. (10 ½ order size 10)
Huron - Wendat manufacturing since 1878
Located north of Quebec City, in the Huron Village (Wendake), Bastien Industries has been manufacturing and distributing its authentic products since 1972.
Renowned for the excellence of its moccasins, and its Native American handicrafts, the company was first founded by Mr. Roland Bastien. Inspired by the expertise and passion for making snowshoes and moccasins by Maurice Bastien (1878), Former Grand Chief of the Huron-Wendat Nation, Mr. Roland Bastien set up a company that could produce items worthy of the Huron-Wendat heritage.
Moose and buffalo are wild animals, therefore they incur wounds and scarring during their lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact, are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's story-line. Please enjoy our blog explaining the uniqueness of rich full-grain wild leather "Wild & Free".
