Slip into a pair of women's unlined ballet moccasin slippers, handmade from the softest and most durable buffalo hide. These ladies moccasins are a type of minimalist footwear and have 2 layers of buffalo leather on the soles without any padding or lining. They are the closest thing to feeling barefoot, like having a second protective skin on your feet which feels buttery soft. They are ideal for Earthing purposes or if you want a thin pair of moccasin slippers to bring with you on your travels. Please note, these moccasins are "indoor" moccasins however they can be used outdoors for Earthing, but only on soft surfaces such as grass. Do not use in rain or snow. These ladies traditional aboriginal ballet moccasin slippers come in a Tobacco or Saddle Tan colour. (In the drop down the saddle colour is called Dark Tan) They have a suede trim and rawhide suede laces.

These handmade ladies Earthing moccasin slippers are available in women's size 4-10. They fit large, so please order a size down from your regular size. They are not available in half sizes. If you wear a half size order down one and a half sizes. (8 ½ order size 7).

Huron - Wendat manufacturing since 1878
Bastien Industries LogoLocated north of Quebec City, in the Huron Village (Wendake), Bastien Industries has been manufacturing and distributing its authentic products since 1972.

Renowned for the excellence of its moccasins, and its Native American handicrafts, the company was first founded by Mr. Roland Bastien. Inspired by the expertise and passion for making snowshoes and moccasins by Maurice Bastien (1878), Former Grand Chief of the Huron-Wendat Nation, Mr. Roland Bastien set up a company that could produce items worthy of the Huron-Wendat heritage.
Moose and buffalo are wild animals, therefore they incur wounds and scarring during their lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact, are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's story-line. Please enjoy our blog explaining the uniqueness of rich full-grain wild leather "Wild & Free".
