These junior moccasins offer traditional style, superb comfort and look great on both boys and girls. Not only are they stylish and comfortable they are designed for earthing in mind. They are minimalist style of shoe with no added cushioning or support other than a durable leather sole that will connect and ground children to the earth. They have a durable, high quality, extra thick, long-lasting oil-tan sole which is a dark brown colour. They do not have any foam insoles, only 2 layers of leather. The soles become conductive when you walk on the Earth. These children's authentic Native American moccasins are handmade/sewn of genuine moose hide leather in Maple Tan colour. Please note, you may notice a little bleeding of the oil on the moose hide. This is totally natural as the moose hide will absorb some of the coloration of the oil-tan. These kids soft sole outdoor moccasins have rawhide laces for tightening and the vamp is double hand-stitched.

We carry children's sizes youth sizes 11-13 and junior 1-3. We recommend you order one size up than your child's regular shoe size.
Huron - Wendat manufacturing since 1878
Bastien Industries LogoLocated north of Quebec City, in the Huron Village (Wendake), Bastien Industries has been manufacturing and distributing its authentic products since 1972.

Renowned for the excellence of its moccasins, and its Native American handicrafts, the company was first founded by Mr. Roland Bastien. Inspired by the expertise and passion for making snowshoes and moccasins by Maurice Bastien (1878), Former Grand Chief of the Huron-Wendat Nation, Mr. Roland Bastien set up a company that could produce items worthy of the Huron-Wendat heritage.
Moose and buffalo are wild animals, therefore they incur wounds and scarring during their lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact, are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's story-line. Please enjoy our blog explaining the uniqueness of rich full-grain wild leather "Wild & Free".
