Description

Experience the ultimate blend of comfort and style with these butterfly flat moccasin-style shoes. Visit our blog "Beads & Butterflies" to learn more about these beautiful flats.

They are meticulously fashioned from premium full-grain nubuck leather in either a sophisticated Cashew brown colour or an Egret white, offering both durability and a timeless aesthetic. The intricate beadwork, designed by Nimíipuu artist Mikailah Thompson, enhances these flats with a touch of cultural artistry. The unique Turtle Sole, created by Cree artist Heather Endall, also ensures comfort and a distinctive design that sets these flats apart.

We have added a copper rivet hand-punched into the soles of these flats, so that you can experience grounding, connecting you to Earth's electrons through the conductive copper.

These everyday flats elevate your look with unparalleled ease with their elastic opening, allowing you to slip them on and off effortlessly. These flats fit the same as your regular shoe size. They do not come in half sizes. If you wear a half-size, go down to the nearest full-size. (8 ½ order size 8)

Protection: Use a silicone-based leather/suede protector. Do not spray fur, as it contains natural protective oils. We offer a protecting spray as part of our recommended Care Kit.

To Clean: Leather can be cleaned using a gentle soap and soft brush. For salt, wipe down with a damp cloth. Even if they have been sprayed, salt is corrosive and can cause damage.

To Dry: Once wet, allow your footwear to dry naturally.

Wear: Never pull fur when putting on or removing boot, fur sheds over time and frequent friction will cause the fur to shed much faster. Cross laces over before tightening to avoid tearing leather eyeholes.

Storage: When ready to store them for the season you should clean them, allow them to dry and then pack them away in a sealed container away from heat, moisture and pets (a plastic storage tote works great.) You can also use a pool noodle or something similar in the shaft to keep them upright during storage.
