The holiday season evokes a special kind of nostalgia, illuminated by strings of coloured lights, the scent of gingerbread, and snow gently falling outside the window. It’s a time that hearkens back to childhood, and the hope, the excitement we had as kids. Glittering silver tinsel. A plate of cookies and a glass of milk. Stockings empty at bedtime that we had total faith would be filled with treats when we woke up too early the next morning.
It’s the belief that while some things change, maybe there are other things that can somehow defy time and always remain the same, like the memory of loved ones, or that magical holiday feeling as cozy as a fleecy pair of moccasin slippers.



Wear your fleeced mocs when reading the new books you found under the tree. Or while bingeing holiday movies with the kids, hopefully feeling somewhat like a kid yourself. Wear them when listening to the vinyl album of your favourite band that Santa surprised you with. Step into their warmth in the thin, grey chill of a January morning. Slip into their downy comfort on February nights when the snow blows sideways and darkness comes early.
