I’d like to think that most of us are working to improve our human legacy, even when, historically, it’s proven to be a bit of a challenge. Our planet comes with a lot of baggage!
One improvement we can make is to carry some of that baggage with reusable shopping bags. For many years now, we’ve all being asked to examine our usage of single-use plastics and their impact on the environment. A consequence of this has been the recent elimination of plastic shopping bags from retail and grocery stores. While at times inconvenient, it has nevertheless encouraged us to be more mindful about finding eco-friendly solutions — one of which is providing our own multi-use bags.
Indigenous Art reusable shopping bags aren’t just a responsible environmental choice to make, they also showcase unique Indigenous designs inspired by nature. “Ancestral Song”, “Spirit Buffalo”, and “Mother Daughter Water Song” are just a few of the vibrant and unique images featured, created by Indigenous artists. Each illustration captures the spirit of humankind’s relationship to wildlife and planet Earth.
With 16 striking designs to choose from, these reusable shopping bags are made with recycled plastic. They are sturdy, yet soft and lightweight, holding up to 18 lbs.
