There’s a grace that comes with honouring the details of our daily lives.
Small joys. Simple pleasures.
For me, it’s the scented steam that curls up from a hot cup of tea in the morning. It’s the right song on my playlist in the car, as I drive into the sunshine of a golden afternoon. It’s the wind sending colourful leaves cartwheeling across my backyard.

The beauty of Laurentian Chief moccasins is definitely in the details.
Thoughtfully designed, their rich, chocolate brown suede is trimmed with woven braid at the ankle and a deeply fringed cuff. Suede piping extends around the u-shaped vamp, with pinked edges, and the exquisite hand-beaded, leaf adds a special authenticity. But I love that they’re not limited to being indoor slippers. The rubber crepe outsole means they can also be worn outside for walks, running errands, or simply watching the world go by.
My most favourite detail of all? Laurentian Chief moccasins are 100% manufactured in Quebec, Canada and have been since 1945. Inspired by Indigenous footwear, the fine craftsmanship and hand-finishing techniques have been passed down through three generations of local leatherworkers.
