100% designed and fabricated in Canada, the Laurentian Chief brand is inspired by Indigenous-style footwear, bespoke needlework, and time-honoured natural materials. Since 1945, three generations of artisans in the Eugène Cloutier workshop have passed along their techniques and expertise in leatherwork and hand-finishing.

Depending on the style, selected Laurentian Chief footwear may be made with supple moose, deer, or elk leathers, suede or buffalo hides. They may be lined with the plushness of authentic sheepskin or trimmed with real rabbit fur.

These soft-soled moccasins are fashioned in classic slip-on style for indoor wear and comfort. Rich olive suede is trimmed with leather piping and a deep shearling cuff around the ankle and lining the interior. The extended upper vamp features silky two-toned sealskin for a look of incomparable elegance. Laurentian Chief’s logo is proudly embossed on the underside of the leather outsole.
