Behind The Mask
Masks are more than just a beauty regimen.

In the world of skincare and superheroes alike, wearing a mask of is an act of protection.

A mask suggests drama or mystery, concealing our identity from the rest of the world. It can also be an act of self care. We apply the mask to heal, refresh, and rejuvenate. Behind the mask, we are vulnerable, with bare, makeup-free skin, flaws and all. It becomes our own personal fortress of solitude, and we wear it until we’re ready to reveal who we really are.

LED Facial Masks help us prepare to face the world as ourselves, at our very best.

Phototherapy and Red Light Therapy (RLT) are currently revolutionizing skincare. LED Masks use healing wavelengths and frequencies to strengthen and revitalize skin cells. This radiant energy promotes collagen and Vitamin D, reduces fine lines and sagging, while soothing problem areas such as acne, rosacea, or blotchiness.

"[It’s] like plants absorbing sunlight to power photosynthesis and boost tissue growth. Human cells can absorb light wavelengths to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin." - Dr. Glyn Estebanez, aesthetic surgeon (as reported by the Evening Standard).

Once an in-clinic treatment, Phototherapy is now available through a variety of home masking devices. Different coloured light energy will penetrate the skin and treat it in different ways.

Red Light: Minimizes wrinkles, firms skin, reduces inflammation, increases elasticity

Blue Light: Neutralizes bacteria, heals acne and sun damage, reduces scars, can help counteract Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Yellow Light: Stimulates lymphatic flow, increases circulation, boosts production of red blood cells, alleviates stress

Near-Infrared: Penetrates deepest into skin, repairs skin and acne, promotes skin cell health, improves sleep quality, enhances mood
