Please enjoy our blog post featuring these stylish moccasins "The Legend of Hiawatha". They are ankle high with a fashionable fringe all the way around. They have a beautiful Native Indian beaded design on the vamp. They have rawhide wrap around laces for tightening and the vamp is double hand-stitched. These ladies moccasin shoes are handmade from genuine moose hide leather in a Maple Tan colour which is one of the most durable yet softest leathers available. These women’s moccasin shoes have a flat durable outdoor rubber sole.
They are available in women's size 5-10. We recommend you order the same as your regular size. They are not available in half sizes, if you wear a half size order down. (8 ½ order size 8) Fit regular to narrow feet. They are not meant for a wide foot.

Renowned for the excellence of its moccasins, and its Native American handicrafts, the company was first founded by Mr. Roland Bastien. Inspired by the expertise and passion for making snowshoes and moccasins by Maurice Bastien (1878), Former Grand Chief of the Huron-Wendat Nation, Mr. Roland Bastien set up a company that could produce items worthy of the Huron-Wendat heritage.
Moose and buffalo are wild animals, therefore they incur wounds and scarring during their lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact, are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's story-line.
