These stylish men's authentic moccasins are soft sole boots providing you with a natural barefoot feeling. They are great if you want to use them for Earthing purposes as they are made entirely of genuine moose hide leather in maple and black just like authentic Native Americans wore. They are completely unlined with NO FOAM. Only leather separates your from the Earth beneath your feet. Since leather is conductive, when mixed with the moisture from your feet, these boots are perfect for grounding/Earthing. These men's handmade ankle high moccasin boots come in a Black or Maple Tan colour and they have an added added leather chromexcel sole which is extremely durable, perfect for outdoor usage, especially on soft and natural terrains. The leather sole is a dark brown colour and is designed to be the toughest and most durable leather that will last you a lot of usage. They are 5½" tall which is about ankle height and have a unique long fringe around the sides and back. These men's traditional style moccasin boots have rawhide laces for tightening and the vamp is hand-stitched.
They come in men's sizes 7-14 and fit true to size. They are not available in half sizes. If you wear a half size order down (10 ½ order size 10).
Huron - Wendat manufacturing since 1878
Located north of Quebec City, in the Huron Village (Wendake), Bastien Industries has been manufacturing and distributing its authentic products since 1972.
Renowned for the excellence of its moccasins, and its Native American handicrafts, the company was first founded by Mr. Roland Bastien. Inspired by the expertise and passion for making snowshoes and moccasins by Maurice Bastien (1878), Former Grand Chief of the Huron-Wendat Nation, Mr. Roland Bastien set up a company that could produce items worthy of the Huron-Wendat heritage.
Moose and buffalo are wild animals, therefore they incur wounds and scarring during their lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact, are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's story-line. Please enjoy our blog explaining the uniqueness of rich full-grain wild leather "Wild & Free".
