SKU: B4890M These men's moccasins provide you with the best comfort and unique style. Read our blog post about these moccasins "Sole Searching". They are handmade from genuine moose hide leather which is soft and supple yet one of the most durable leathers available. They come in a Maple Tan colour. These authentic men's moccasin slippers have a hand-beaded design on the vamp. Other features include rawhide leather laces for tightening and a double hand-stitched vamp. These men's traditional style moccasin slippers are extremely comfortable as they are lined with genuine suede leather and they have an indoor double leather sole with a thick and cushy foam insole which makes you feel like you are walking on a cloud.
NOTE The tufting detail is no longer being added to the vamp. We do have some sizes left. If you prefer with tufting, please add a note to your order and we will confirm before shipping.
They are easy to slip on and off and they come in men's sizes 8-13. These soft sole moose hide moccasin slippers fit the same as your regular shoe size. They are not available in half sizes. If you wear a half size order down (9 ½ or size 9).
Huron - Wendat manufacturing since 1878
Located north of Quebec City, in the Huron Village (Wendake), Bastien Industries has been manufacturing and distributing its authentic products since 1972.
Renowned for the excellence of its moccasins, and its Native American handicrafts, the company was first founded by Mr. Roland Bastien. Inspired by the expertise and passion for making snowshoes and moccasins by Maurice Bastien (1878), Former Grand Chief of the Huron-Wendat Nation, Mr. Roland Bastien set up a company that could produce items worthy of the Huron-Wendat heritage.
Moose and buffalo are wild animals, therefore they incur wounds and scarring during their lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact, are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's story-line. Please enjoy our blog explaining the uniqueness of rich full-grain wild leather "Wild & Free".
