All the new Bastien moccasins feature a single stitch at the sole. Bastien Industries now uses MEC-Val machines from Italy, which create simple lockstitch seams. This means that even if one stitch breaks, the next stitch is securely tied with a knot, ensuring durability.

Description

These women's ballet moccasin slippers are handmade from the softest genuine moose hide leather. They have a 2 layers of leather on the soft soles. These women's authentic Native Indian moccasin slippers are made with all natural leather, there are no insoles or synthetic materials so you can connect with the ground and feel like you are walking barefoot. These are ideal for Earthing purposes or if you want a thin pair of moccasin slippers to bring with your on you travels. Please note, these moccasins are "indoor" moccasins however they can be used outdoors for Earthing, but only on soft surfaces such as grass. Do not use in rain or snow.

These ladies traditional aboriginal ballet moccasin slippers come in a Maple Tan and Black  colours. They have a rawhide suede laces. We carry women's sizes 5-10. These ballet moccasins fit large, order one full size down. For half sizes order one and a half sizes down. (8 order size 7, 8 ½ order size 7)
Moose and buffalo are wild animals, therefore they incur wounds and scarring during their lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact, are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's story-line.
